I teach general English using traditional methods but I also use crafts in my lessons to allow children to relax, which helps them to learn with confidence. We might make origami animals, or use clay to make letters of the alphabet. While their hands are busy, your children will forget to be scared of speaking and will absorb much more than they might in a more traditional setting.

We will build on their phonic awareness, to enable them to decode words by themselves, which gives them a real sense of achievement and encourages them to want to learn more.

Children are taught that mistakes are nothing to be ashamed of - we all make mistakes and we learn from them, so we should embrace them as part of the learning process.

Your children will be encouraged to participate through crafts, drawing and conversation by focusing on things that interest them, so that they have a desire to build their language skills.
